The Refinement Edit is a personalised 1:1 training experience designed for qualified lash artists who are ready to refine their technique, rebuild confidence and improve the overall quality of their work.

Unlike beginner training, this course focuses on identifying the specific habits, challenges or skill gaps that may be holding you back and working through them together.

Whether you’re returning to lashes after time away, struggling with retention or consistency, wanting to improve your styling and technique, or simply feel like you’ve hit a plateau, your training will be tailored around exactly where you’re at and where you want to go - I’m here to help and be your hype girl 🎉

There is no one-size-fits-all curriculum. Your Refinement Edit is built around you.

Before your training, we’ll identify the areas you feel least confident in and what you would most like to improve.

Your training may cover:

• Retention and adhesive troubleshooting
• Isolation and placement
• Direction and consistency
• Fan creation and control
• Styling and mapping
• Layering techniques
• Speed and efficiency
• Lash health and safe application
• Client consultation and experience
• Photography and content
• Pricing and business foundations
• Social media and positioning

We won’t waste your training day covering things you already feel confident in. Instead, your time is focused on the areas that will make the biggest difference to your work.

Your training day can be used to focus on the areas that will have the biggest impact on your artistry or business.

This may include hands-on lash technique, styling, retention, speed and consistency, or areas such as content creation, photography, client experience, pricing, social media and business foundations.

Throughout the day, you’ll receive real-time feedback, personalised coaching and practical guidance as we work through your chosen areas together. Depending on your goals, this may involve practical demonstrations, technique corrections, content creation, reviewing your current work, troubleshooting challenges or working through your business and branding.

The day is designed to be practical, relevant and immediately useful — so you leave with greater clarity, confidence and a clear understanding of what to work on next.

1. ENROL

Choose your available Refinement Edit training date and complete your enrolment.

2. PRE-TRAINING CONSULTATION

Before your training, you’ll provide information about your current experience, challenges and goals so your session can be tailored specifically to you.

3. YOUR TRAINING DAY

Attend your personalised 1:1 practical training where we’ll assess your current techniques, troubleshoot your concerns and work through the areas you want to improve.

4. IMPLEMENT & REFINE

After training, begin implementing your new techniques into your own work and continue building consistency and confidence.

5. ONGOING SUPPORT

Your learning doesn’t stop once your training day is complete. You’ll continue to have educator support available for questions, feedback and guidance as you put everything into practice - We LOVE keeping contact!

Your Refinement Edit includes a curated lash kit containing professional products selected to support your training and continued practice.

Rather than providing a complete beginner kit filled with items you may already own, the Refinement Kit has been designed specifically with an existing lash artist in mind.

You’ll also receive access to exclusive student discounts on The Lash Institution supplies following your training.

The Refinement Edit is an upskilling course, designed for artists who already have previous lash training or industry experience.

Your existing technique will be assessed throughout the day so we can identify areas for improvement and provide personalised feedback.

This training is focused on development rather than teaching you from beginner level.

Upon completion of The Refinement Edit, you’ll receive certification recognising your completion of advanced/refinement training with The Lash Institution and The Lash Edit.

The Refinement Edit is designed for previously trained lash artists and is not a replacement for beginner lash extension education.

Do I need previous lash experience?

Yes. The Refinement Edit is designed for lash artists who have already completed beginner lash extension training. If you have no previous lash education or experience, one of our beginner courses will be better suited to you.

What if I’m not sure what I need help with?

That’s completely fine. You don’t need to diagnose the problem yourself. During your training, we can assess your current work and technique and identify where adjustments could make the biggest difference.

Is every Refinement Edit the same?

No. This is intentionally not a one-size-fits-all course. Your training is tailored around your current skill level, goals and areas of concern.

Can we cover Business as well as Lashes?

Yes. Depending on your goals, your training can include areas such as pricing, client experience, social media, content, photography and general business foundations alongside your practical lash training.

Is this suitable if I’ve had time away from Lashing?

Absolutely. The Refinement Edit is particularly suited to artists returning to the industry who want to refresh their knowledge, correct old habits and rebuild confidence before taking on clients again.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. Upon completing your Refinement Edit training, you’ll receive certification recognising your completion of refinement/up skilling education with The Lash Institution and The Lash Edit.
